How far is your hotel from the airport?
We are located approximately two miles from the Hilo International Airport (ITO), the main airport for East Hawaii servicing the Hilo area.
Do you have free shuttle service?
Unfortunately we do not have a shuttle service available; but there are several taxicabs which operate out of the Hilo Airport which can take you to our hotel.
How far is the volcano from your hotel?
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is located about 40 miles away (about a 45 minute drive).
Do you have internet access?
High speed wireless internet access and internet kiosks are available in our hotel lobby for a fee (hourly, daily or weekly rates available).
Do your rooms have microwave ovens?
Our kitchenette rooms are equipped with microwave ovens, as well as a two burner stove, small refrigerator, pots, pans, and plates and utensils for four.
Do your rooms have hair dryers?
Our superior, kitchenettes, and ocean front rooms are all equipped with hair dryers.
Do your rooms have coffee makers?
Our superior, kitchenettes, and ocean front rooms are all equipped with coffee and coffee makers. We also offer coffee daily at our complimentary Aloha Breakfast from 6:30am – 8:30am.
Do you charge for parking?
There is no charge for parking, you may park in the lot in front of our hotel. If our lot is full, there is also parking along Banyan Drive.
Are all of your rooms non-smoking?
Most of our rooms are non smoking rooms as well as all of our guest areas (lanais, garden, restaurant, etc). We also do have some smoking rooms available, please inquire when making reservations if you would like a smoking room.
How many guests may occupy a room?
Our rooms can accommodate up to four guests sharing one room. There is an additional fee for adult guests, but children are free.
Where is the nearest beach?
The closest beach is Richardson’s Beach located 5 miles from Uncle Billy’s Hilo Bay.
Is there a restaurant on property?
Uncle Billy’s Fish and Steakhouse is open nightly offering award-winning entrees such as our succulent rib-eye, slow roasted prime rib, or Hilo fresh catch of the day. Free Hawaiian entertainment is featured nightly.
What do I need to guarantee my reservation?
We require a valid major credit card for all reservations; the credit card is not charged until check in. Credit Cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations must be cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation charge of the first night room rate.
