How far is your hotel from the airport?
We are located approximately nine miles from the Keahole International Airport (KOA), the main airport for West Hawaii servicing the Kona area.
Do you have free
shuttle service?
Unfortunately we do not have a shuttle service available; but there are several taxicabs which operate out of the Kona Airport which can take you to our hotel.
How far is the volcano from your
hotel?
Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is located about 100 miles away (about a 3 hour drive).
Do you have internet access?
We do offer free WiFi to all of our registered guests; please inquire at
the front desk for instructions and password to log on. Internet kiosks are
also available in our hotel lobby for a fee (charge is per minute).
Do your rooms have microwave ovens?
Unfortunately we do not have any microwave ovens in any of our rooms at Kona Bay.
Do your rooms have hair dryers?
Our superior and deluxe rooms are all equipped with hair dryers.
Do your rooms have coffee makers?
Our superior and deluxe rooms are all equipped with coffee and coffee makers. We also offer coffee daily at our complimentary Aloha Breakfast from 6:30am – 8:30am.
Do you charge for parking?
There is a daily parking charge of $5.21 per day per vehicle.
Are all of your rooms
non-smoking?
Most of our rooms are non smoking rooms as well as all of our guest areas (lanais, garden, restaurant, etc). We also do have some smoking rooms available, please inquire when making reservations if you would like a smoking room.
How many guests may occupy a room?
Our rooms can accommodate up to four guests sharing one room. There is an additional fee for adult guests, but children under 14 are free.
Where is
the nearest beach?
There are a few small beach areas which are within a five minute walking distance from Uncle Billy’s Kona Bay.
Is there a restaurant on
property?
We don't have a restaurant on property however we do have our complimentary Aloha Breakfast available to all our guests from 6:30am – 8:30am daily.
What do I need to guarantee my reservation?
We require a valid major credit card for all reservations; the credit card is not charged until check in. Credit Cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations must be cancelled 72 hours prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation charge of the first night room rate.
